How Icon Sponsorship Works
Support Our Sacred Iconography, One Share at a Time
St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church is embarking on Phase 2 of our iconography program to complete the beautification of our sacred space. To make participation accessible to all parishioners, we're offering icon sponsorships in smaller shares rather than requiring full sponsorship of each icon.
The Process
Each icon in our Phase 2 program has been divided into sponsorship shares based on its total cost. For example:
- A $1,000 icon = Ten $100 shares
- A $2,200 icon = Twenty-two $100 shares
- A $5,500 icon = Twenty-two $250 shares
When you sponsor a share, you are making a meaningful contribution toward bringing that specific icon to completion.
How to Participate
- Choose an icon that speaks to your heart, perhaps your patron saint, a feast day meaningful to your family, or an Old Testament figure
- Select your share amount, each product page shows the share price for that specific icon
- Add to cart, you can sponsor multiple shares of the same icon or shares of different icons
- Complete your donation, your sponsorship brings us one step closer to completing that sacred image
Your Impact
Every share you sponsor directly funds the creation of sacred iconography that will grace our church for generations. Whether you sponsor one share or many, you are participating in the ancient tradition of adorning God's house and supporting the spiritual life of our parish community.
