St. Mardarije of Libertyville, Bishop of America and Canada (1889–1935). A devoted missionary hierarch who labored tirelessly to organize and shepherd the Serbian Orthodox faithful in North America, he founded monasteries, established parishes, and endured great personal hardship for the sake of the Church. Through his humility, ascetic life, and archpastoral care, he became a spiritual father to a scattered flock, leaving a legacy of unity and perseverance in the Orthodox faith.
Feast: December 12. His intercession aids all who labor in missionary work, endure trials, and seek steadfast faith in difficult circumstances.
