Saint Tikhon of Moscow, Patriarch and Enlightener of North America (1865–1925). First Patriarch of Moscow during the Bolshevik persecution, he established Orthodoxy throughout North America and founded St. Tikhon's Monastery in Pennsylvania. He boldly defended the faith against Soviet oppression and preserved the Church's witness during dark trials.
Feast: January 19. His intercession strengthens the faithful during times of trial and upholds the Orthodox mission.
