Saint Gregory the Theologian, Archbishop of Constantinople and Cappadocian Father (329–391). One of the greatest theologians of the early Church, he defended Orthodoxy against Arianism and composed the renowned Five Sermons on the Trinity. His brilliant theological writings and eloquence earned him the title 'Theologian' for his God-inspired wisdom.
